A New Facebook iPad App
Many consider Facebook late in launching a native iPad application. It has now been nine months since the device made its debut and the demand for an app for the iPad has been great as users in their thousands search for it. There those who are enterprising enough to have noted this opportunity and have cashed in on it. “Friendly for Facebook” is an example of an app that has been made by a third party and has risen to become one of the most successful apps in the App Store. “Friendly for Facebook” has had its share of imperfections and now has to work harder to remain relevant especially with the introduction of a new Facebook app, Facepad. Facepad is similar to the Twitter app for Facebook in many ways. Its performance in the market is quite impressive. From the time it was launched, sometime last week, it managed to serve over one million ad impressions in the first 12 hours only. Its strong start has not lost momentum as the app is now getting tens of millions of page views. It has risen to occupy the 15th place among the most popular apps in the App Store. Facepad is a product from a startup known as Loytr. The company still hopes to make the app better with the launching of Facepad V2.
