TripAdvisor is now blocking Google from displaying its reviews on Place Pages. According to an article in Tnooz, the internet search giant is not able to stream in reviews appearing on TripAdvisor because the user review giant has blocked it. This was confirmed by TripAdvisor via email saying that it believes that the user does not necessarily benefit from the experience of selecting the right hotel which is the main goal of having the reviews. The company also added that it is still evaluating the recent changes on Google Places. Before this Google had claimed that the reviews from TripAdvisor were not appearing due to a technical hitch.
